Examples of the finished product. The goal was to familiarize my students with the 7 elements of art. I also wanted them to take home a small visual reminder.

7 Elements of Art. These Giacometti inspired sculptures are a good way to reinforce two important elements form and shape.

Printmaking 6TH-12TH GRADE

This spring semester is dedicated to printmaking. We are covering Gelli plate printing as well as Linoleum cuts. I am a beginner to gelli plate printing so we are really learning and experimenting together.

This a quick and easy way to transfer an original photo, drawing or magazine image.

LINO CUTS

This semester was dedicated to gelli plate printing and linoleum cuts. Everyone learned how to handle the carving tool safely and properly as well as learning mark making.

This is my only photo because the class way more interested in working with the gelli plate.
